New York Photonics member and supporter, Harris Beach has achieved a successful jury verdict for Greatbatch Ltd. following a two-week trial in which Greatbatch claimed patent infringement by AVX Corporation cost Greatbatch $37.5 million in lost sales, price erosion, and other value. The trial was held January 11 – 25, 2016 in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. The jury awarded Greatbatch the $37.5 million in damages it was seeking.
